Since 2010, CASIE has partnered with Harvard Graduate School of Education in two conferences per year, held at locations in the USA and abroad.
With its over-arching theme of Making, Thinking, Understanding, Project Zero will invite educators to reflect deeply on ways to create and sustain engaging, enriching and rigorous learning opportunities.
Offered as a 5 hour day in conjunction with CASIE's International Baccalaureate Workshops, our Professional Education Seminars offer professional development for educators at the level of elementary, middle, and secondary education.
CASIE defines international education as an education that prepares all learners to be active global citizens who believe that they can make a difference and have the skills to do so, at local and global levels, through language learning, cultural understanding and the ability to examine situations from a range of perspectives.
CASIE works with like-minded organizations to promote international education. CASIE’s partners include Atlanta International School, the International Baccalaureate Organization, TeachUNICEF, and Project Zero (a center of The Harvard Graduate School of Education).
CASIE offers several professional development workshops for the International Baccalaureate.
CASIE works with educators to promote international understanding through education programs, research, discussion, policy planning and workshops.
