DESCRIPTION:RECOMMENDED FOR:\nCoordinators\, members of the pedagogical leadership\nteam\, librarians\, specialists\, deans of students\, counsellors\,\nyear level leaders/heads of department\, section/deputy/\nassistant/vice heads\, inclusion specialists and career/\nguidance specialists. *Heads of school may benefit from\nattending this workshop with/without their pedagogical\nleadership team.\nThis workshop will support learning leaders to enhance the\nidentity of being an IB World School through a reflection on the\npurpose\, culture and environment of their learning organization\nand their agency for growing leadership capacity within the\nschool. Building on this understanding\, leaders will consider the\nways in which they will place learning at the center of their IB\nprogramme\, through the thoughtful development of purpose\,\nculture and environment\, in alignment with the IB’s standards and\npractices. Working with each other and the workshop leaders\,\nparticipants will:\n• develop their leadership capabilities as a pedagogical leader\nwithin a learning organization.\n• become familiar with the IB’s leadership capabilities as lenses\nor tools to develop their personal mastery in an IB global\ncontext.\n• prepare to develop collaborative or shared leadership capacity\nwithin their school.\n• plan the journey through school self-study toward evaluation\nand beyond.\nDuring the workshop\, leaders will reflect and build on their\nschool’s IB development plan to meet the IB’s requirements for\nevaluation and a vision for ongoing implementation.
