education programs, research, discussion, policy planning, and workshops.
The Center for the Advancement and Study of International Education (CASIE) is a non-profit organization that promotes multi-language programs, the International Baccalaureate, and international understanding in K-12 schools in the United States and abroad. CASIE believes in supporting educators’ work and all children’s access to education. CASIE works with like-minded organizations to promote international education.
CASIE provides virtual tailored professional development and capacity-building services to individual schools and school districts, whether for a single visit or on an ongoing basis. Our consultants focus on a variety of topics relating to international education, language learning, and progressive pedagogy.
CASIE defines international education as an education that prepares all learners to be active global citizens who believe that they can make a difference and have the skills to do so, at local and global levels, through language learning, cultural understanding, and the ability to examine situations from a range of perspectives.
