The Center for the Advancement and Study of International Education (CASIE) is a non-profit organization that promotes multi-language programs, the International Baccalaureate, and international understanding in K-12 schools in the United States and abroad. CASIE believes in supporting educators’ work and all children’s access to education. CASIE works with like-minded organizations to promote international education.
CASIE defines international education as an education that prepares all learners to be active global citizens who believe that they can make a difference and have the skills to do so, at local and global levels, through language learning, cultural understanding, and the ability to examine situations from a range of perspectives.
