If you have not visited Atlanta before, our airport, Hartsfield-Jackson International, is the world’s busiest! There are multiple terminals connected by a very efficient train. The airport is very large and spread out so you must allow enough time, once you get there, to deal with your luggage, make your way through security screening, get to your terminal on the passenger train, and then still reach your gate at the terminal.
To ensure your full participation at the workshop from start to finish and ample travel time to and within Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, we suggest not choosing a flight departing Atlanta before 7:00 pm on Saturday, November 7th.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Please be aware that Atlanta is not a pedestrian-friendly city. However, our workshop venue, Atlanta International School, is located in the exceptionally pedestrian-friendly neighborhood of Buckhead.
It is entirely possible to fly into our airport, take the MARTA public train at the airport station all the way to the Buckhead Red Line stop, walk to a number of Buckhead hotels, and walk or shuttle to the school, as well as to tons of restaurants and shops in the Buckhead area.
If you want to take advantage of Atlanta’s many cultural attractions, you can take MARTA to many, but not all. If you want maximum freedom of movement, we recommend renting a car during your stay for all your conference and leisure transportation needs.

CASIE has high standards for how we want our guests to be treated while at our workshop! To this end, we work closely with outstanding area hotels to make sure we can recommend them to our event attendees.
