What does it mean to be an IB Primary years educator? An IB education supports the development of learners through a holistic approach within its inquiry-based and contextualised curriculum frameworks. In this workshop, participants will explore how:
- An IB education develops agentic lifelong learners who are internationally-minded and demonstrate attributes of the IB learner profile
- Approaches to teaching and learning help students develop the attitudes and skills they need for both academic and personal success
- An inquiry-based learning environment develops students’ curiosity and deeper understanding of concepts, contexts and conceptual understandings.
Collaborating as a community of learners impacts learning and teaching and the success of every learner
